BBC Presenter Welcomes "Miracle" Baby After Miscarriage
Keeley Donovan shares the joy of her second child's arrival, reflecting on her previous loss.

BBC weather presenter Keeley Donovan, 43, has announced the birth of her second child, Remi, describing the newborn as a "miracle" three years after experiencing a miscarriage.
Donovan, who works for BBC Look North, shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo of her baby daughter sleeping. "It hasn't been an easy journey but she really is our little miracle and has brought us so much happiness already," Donovan wrote. "We'll share more details over the coming months but for now we're enjoying our new life as a family of four."
Donovan and her husband, Johnny I'Anson, are already parents to their daughter Scout, born in 2020. The couple married in 2018.
In January 2023, Donovan publicly shared her experience with miscarriage, detailing the physical and emotional toll. She described suffering from morning sickness before a miscarriage around her 12-week scan, and subsequently experiencing heavy blood loss that required hospitalization. At the time, she spoke about the shame she felt, hoping to destigmatize the conversation around baby loss and assure others they were not alone.
Donovan joined the BBC in 2005 and also contributes to segments on Countryfile and BBC Radio Humberside.
