Barry Manilow has canceled additional performances of his Las Vegas residency at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino due to "technical and vocal problems." The cancellations of shows scheduled for Friday and Saturday were announced on Manilow's Instagram account.
Ticket holders for the canceled performances will receive automatic refunds. While some fans expressed disappointment, many offered well wishes and encouraged the 83-year-old singer to prioritize his health, with some suggesting his demanding schedule may be contributing to the issues.
This is not the first time this month that Manilow has canceled a concert shortly before its scheduled start. He also abruptly postponed a performance in Lexington, Kentucky, earlier in March. That show, originally planned for March 9, was rescheduled due to "unforeseen circumstances," with a new date yet to be announced. Tickets for the original Lexington date are expected to be honored.
The recent cancellations come approximately six months after Manilow was forced to reschedule the original dates for his Las Vegas residency, which had been set for February 12-21. At that time, his team announced the postponement so he could focus on recovery from surgery for lung cancer. Manilow stated in a social media post at the time that he was "doing great and recovering well" and that he had been exercising and spending time in the studio.
Manilow publicly revealed his lung cancer diagnosis in December 2025, sharing that a cancerous spot was discovered on his left lung during an MRI. He stated that it was fortunate the spot was found early and that he would undergo surgery. Ahead of his surgery, he had also rescheduled his January arena tour dates.
In addition to the recent cancellations, Manilow previously rescheduled his January arena tour dates prior to his surgery.
