Barry Keoghan Credits Skin-Tightening Treatment for Improved Appearance

Actor Barry Keoghan has shared that he underwent a skin-tightening treatment called Xerf, which he states has helped him feel and look better. Keoghan underwent two sessions of the procedure, each costing $3,300 (£2,500), performed by facialist Nilam Holmes.

In an Instagram video shared by Holmes, Keoghan described the treatment as "very relaxing and therapeutic." He added, "I feel better about myself, I look better. I think it’s important to look after yourself inside and outside."

Xerf is a non-surgical treatment that utilizes monopolar radiofrequency (RF) to reach multiple layers beneath the skin. According to the clinic's website, it is designed to lift, firm, and reshape the jawline and lower face with no needles and no downtime.

Holmes, founder of Dermaspa, noted that she has been working with the 34-year-old actor for some time, helping him care for his skin through various projects. She expressed that the trust he places in her is significant and that his skin has improved considerably over the past few years.

Keoghan's comments come after he previously spoke about the online criticism he has faced regarding his appearance. In an interview earlier this year, he stated, "There’s a lot of hate online. It’s a lot of abuse of how I look." He also mentioned that the negative attention made him withdraw and feel hesitant to attend public events.
