Barbara Palvin Returns to Victoria's Secret Runway Six Weeks Postpartum
Model discusses her rapid return to work after welcoming her first child with Dylan Sprouse.
Six weeks after giving birth to her first child, model Barbara Palvin is set to walk in the 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Los Angeles. Palvin welcomed a baby girl with husband Dylan Sprouse last month.
"I'm happy. I'm excited. I hope I don't fall!" Palvin told Page Six Style backstage before the show. She downplayed the quick turnaround from childbirth to returning to work, stating, "Maternity leave is six to eight weeks; I'm six weeks tomorrow, so I'm just doing what everyone [else] is doing. And I only need to walk down a runway!"
Palvin attributed her swift physical recovery to maintaining a healthy lifestyle during pregnancy, focusing on organic foods, and continuing to eat well postpartum while breastfeeding. "I just let my body heal on its own and did some light exercises, but nothing crazy," she explained.
Her husband, Dylan Sprouse, is expected to support her from the front row, a usual occurrence. In past years, Sprouse has brought cardboard cutouts of their pets to the show and delivered burgers to Palvin post-show.
This appearance marks Palvin's sixth time walking in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. She made her debut in 2012 at the age of 19.
Palvin also shared advice for others balancing motherhood and careers: "We got this, because we're capable of everything. We're strong."
She emphasized the importance of seeking support. "Don't be scared to ask for help," Palvin said. "I wouldn't be here if my friends and family hadn't supported me. They would drop off food at the door, [and] my mom and dad flew out for the first few weeks."
The 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will stream live for free at 7:30 p.m. ET on YouTube and the brand’s social media channels.
