Veteran actress Barbara Hershey, 78, was recently spotted in Los Angeles, running errands at a local grocery store.
Hershey, whose career spans five decades, has appeared with numerous acclaimed actors, including Mia Farrow and Natalie Portman. She began her acting career in the late 1960s, with early roles in the ABC series The Monroes and her film debut in With Six You Get Eggroll in 1968.
Her filmography includes notable performances such as her role in Woody Allen's 1986 film Hannah and Her Sisters, where she acted alongside Mia Farrow. In 2010, she portrayed Natalie Portman's mother in the psychological thriller Black Swan. Hershey also starred as Mary Magdalene in Martin Scorsese's 1988 drama The Last Temptation of Christ.
More recently, Hershey reunited with her Beaches co-star Bette Midler. The actresses, who played lifelong friends in the 1988 film, appeared in a selfie shared by Midler on Instagram in February, with Midler captioning it, "It’s a BEACHES reunion! Here I am with the great Barbara Hershey! We go back a-ways!!!"
Hershey, born in Hollywood, California, was seen wearing a white maxi dress with a burgundy pattern and later changed into a black dress to collect her mail at her residence. She has one son, Tom Carradine, from her relationship with actor David Carradine.
