A Bank of America Vice President was fatally stabbed in Times Square on Monday, her first day back at work after maternity leave. Erin Piacenti, 32, of Chester, New Jersey, was attacked and killed by Pamela Cisneros Lopez, 49, on West 41st Street in Midtown Manhattan.

Piacenti was reportedly approached by Lopez and stabbed in the stomach at random. Lopez also allegedly stabbed a 68-year-old man in the stomach during the incident. Police officers eventually stopped Lopez.

A GoFundMe fundraiser established for Piacenti described her as "deeply devoted to her family and friends, exceptionally bright and accomplished, and was someone who brought warmth and energy to the people around her." The fundraiser has raised over $95,000.

Piacenti had recently completed maternity leave for her newborn daughter, Madison.
