Badenoch Rejects Deal With Reform UK, Urges Voters to Return to Conservatives
Business Secretary states preference for another general election over a pact with Nigel Farage's party.

Business Secretary Kemi Badenoch has indicated that she would prefer another general election rather than forming a deal with the Reform UK party if no single party wins a majority in the next election. Badenoch stated her position in an interview with the BBC's Chris Mason.
Speaking at the Conservative Party's annual conference in Birmingham, Badenoch described Reform UK as being "neck deep in scandal." She added that aligning with the party would lead to "just one problem after another" and that she does not have the time for such complications. Instead, Badenoch expressed a desire for Reform voters to return to the Conservative Party.
The Conservative Party is holding its annual conference in Birmingham, a key event for setting out the party's agenda and strategy ahead of the next general election.
