Backstreet Boys Surprise Drake with Performance at 40th Birthday Bash

The Backstreet Boys delivered a surprise performance for Drake's 40th birthday party on Friday night, singing their hit song "I Want It That Way" and inviting the rapper onstage to join them. The celebration, held at Casa Cipriani in New York City, saw members Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, and Brian Littrell in attendance.

Drake, dressed in a black tuxedo, marked the milestone occasion with an extravagant affair for over 400 guests. Attendees received VIP giveaways, including Chanel and Hermes handbags, with retail values ranging from $3,500 to over $15,000. The event also featured a game show with prizes up to $1 million.

The Backstreet Boys' performance comes as the group reportedly plans to expand their European tour dates to include a large show in London. The band is currently concluding their "Millennium" residency at the Las Vegas Sphere on December 29. They previously held a 10-night run in Dusseldorf, Germany, from September 25 to October 7.

Sources suggest the band is eyeing a UK tour in 2027, potentially including a concert at London's O2 Arena as part of the venue's 20th-anniversary celebrations. The group expressed interest in headlining the Super Bowl halftime show in 2027, which is scheduled to take place on February 14 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The band had previously declined an offer to headline the Super Bowl halftime show in 2001, opting instead to perform the national anthem.
