Bachelor Star Sam Wood Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges in Noosa
The former 'The Bachelor' personality appeared in court following an alleged altercation, with his career reportedly on the brink.
Sam Wood, known for his role as the star of the Australian season of 'The Bachelor,' has been arrested and charged with two counts of domestic violence. The incident reportedly occurred during a family getaway in Noosa.
Wood appeared in court on Saturday, with the legal proceedings casting a shadow over his career. Neighbours in Noosa described the final day of the family's holiday on Hastings Street as seemingly normal before police were called.
The former reality television star was allegedly involved in an altercation at the La Mer holiday villas in Noosa on Saturday night. This arrest comes as excerpts from his wife Snezana's 2024 memoir, 'Untold: A Story of Love, Motherhood, Heartbreak and Change,' have resurfaced.
In her memoir, Snezana has previously detailed challenges in their relationship, often citing differences in parenting styles. The memoir also touches upon personal milestones and difficulties, including the birth of their daughter Harper after a difficult pregnancy, and the period after a miscarriage when they welcomed their third daughter. Snezana's past relationships are also mentioned, including her first marriage to Jason Rapoff, with whom she shares a daughter, Eve.
Excerpts from the memoir recall difficult moments, such as Snezana feeling distressed at a housewarming for their Mount Martha home and experiencing health struggles the day after their wedding in Byron Bay. She was walked down the aisle by her father, Marko Markoski.
Neighbours observed Sam and Snezana on the boardwalk in the mornings during their week-long stay on Hastings Street, a popular holiday strip. Wood's career is reportedly at a critical juncture following the charges.
