Ayesha Curry Restricts Husband Steph's Alcohol Intake Before Warriors Season
The Golden State Warriors star's wife revealed his dietary choices ahead of his 18th NBA season.
Ayesha Curry, wife of Golden State Warriors player Steph Curry, announced that the NBA star will be abstaining from alcohol as he prepares for his 18th season. This decision comes as the Warriors gear up for their first preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Ayesha shared a poolside photo on Instagram featuring the couple, with a caption detailing their drinks: "Game day tomorrow! 🥹🥹 1 Hugo spritz and a water for the gentleman please,” she wrote.
While Ayesha Curry highlighted the change, Steph Curry himself has previously stated that he typically only consumes alcohol during celebrations and in the NBA offseason. This suggests the decision to opt for water over a boozy drink was his own.
Curry is entering his 18th NBA season and recently signed a two-year, $116 million contract extension with the Warriors in late September. Fans are hopeful that any future occasions for celebratory drinks this season will be due to victories rather than other circumstances.
