Authorities are searching for three individuals accused of stealing family heirlooms and other valuables from cemeteries in at least nine states, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida. The suspects, identified as Porsche Bancroft, 32, her boyfriend Drake Lee Milam, 33, and her mother Angela Garrett, 52, are all from Indianapolis.

Corporal Cole Brazee of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office stated that the trio allegedly "went on a tour of the eastern half of the United States," breaking into mausoleums and niches. Arrest warrants have been issued for the suspects, who would be extradited to Florida to face charges there. Detectives are currently investigating 20 cases within Florida and suspect the involvement of many more.

In addition to Florida, Brazee indicated that the suspects may have targeted cemeteries in Oklahoma, Minnesota, Texas, Georgia, Iowa, North Carolina, and New York. "There could be a significant amount of individuals that have been victimized that just don’t know it yet," Brazee said, urging people who have loved ones interred in niches to check if their property is still present.

The Central Florida Crimeline is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
