Author Jeneva Rose, known for her suspenseful storytelling, has revealed her six favorite books, emphasizing her preference for narratives that deliver twists, turns, and significant emotional impact. Rose, whose latest horror book, "Sometimes I Scare Myself," is now available, shared that her reading choices reflect her writing style, aiming to provide an immersive escape that evokes strong feelings.

"I want to escape into a story and feel something while I’m there," Rose told Page Six. She gravitates towards complex characters and unexpected plot developments, stating, "I want to be emotionally manipulated, lied to, and occasionally traumatized — and if a book leaves me thinking, ‘What the hell did I just read?’ even better. Apparently, that’s my idea of a good time."
