Attorney for Cornell Rape Case Accuser Reports Threats

The attorney for a woman who alleges she was raped at a Cornell University fraternity house in 2024 says both he and his client have received death threats following publicity surrounding the case.

Thomas Giuffra, who represents the accuser identified in legal documents as Jane Doe, stated that threats have been made after the case gained public attention. Initially, no criminal charges were filed in connection with the allegations. However, the case has since been reopened after Doe filed a civil lawsuit.

Giuffra discussed recent developments in the case and comments made about it by Donald Trump during an interview with BBC Newsnight.
