Aston Villa has intensified its pursuit of Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho, proposing a loan deal that includes an obligation to purchase the player if specific conditions are met. This move comes after initial inquiries made during discussions concerning the potential £117 million sale of Morgan Rogers.
Chelsea, however, is reportedly holding out for a permanent transfer, valuing Garnacho at approximately £40 million. A sell-on clause also means Manchester United is due a percentage of any transfer fee.
Garnacho, an Argentine winger, was a target for Villa before he departed Manchester United last summer. Roma has also made a loan offer for the player, with options to buy.
In separate transfer news, Aston Villa remains interested in signing Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea and is monitoring the situation with Crysencio Summerville, currently at West Ham. West Ham has received a £39 million offer plus add-ons from Roma for Summerville, with Al Hilal also expressing interest.
