Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty has expressed optimism about the team's revamped offense under new head coach Klint Kubiak, describing it as "different in a good way." Jeanty, who saw a decline in production last season, believes the addition of key offensive linemen and Kubiak's scheme will lead to a more explosive running game in the upcoming season.

Jeanty highlighted improvements on the offensive line, noting the health of Kolton Miller and J.P.J. Jackson Power-Johnson. The Raiders bolstered their line during the offseason by signing center Tyler Linderbaum to a significant contract and guard Spencer Burford. Linderbaum, a four-year veteran with the Baltimore Ravens, has earned multiple Pro Bowl selections and is expected to be a key player.

"He comes out, he’s consistent every day, it’s real easy to run behind him," Jeanty said of Linderbaum. "He’s the apex to the push."

Last season, the Raiders struggled offensively, finishing near the bottom in rushing yards and allowing the most sacks in the league. Jeanty's individual performance also dipped from his highly productive junior year at Boise State, where he rushed for 2,601 yards and 29 touchdowns. In 2025, he recorded 975 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Jeanty acknowledged his own performance could have been better, irrespective of external factors.

Under Kubiak, who previously served as offensive coordinator for the Super Bowl-winning Seattle Seahawks, Jeanty anticipates an increase in his workload. The Seahawks' offense last season was noted for its strong rushing attack, accumulating 2,096 yards. Jeanty noted the "level of detail" in the new Raiders' offensive schemes, including various run schemes and motions designed to enhance execution in the run game. He stated, "I love what I’m seeing so far."
