An artist has found a unique way to profit from the public's fascination with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's recent wedding, by selling cubes of New York City street trash. Justin Gignac is selling small, one-inch cubes filled with refuse collected from streets surrounding Madison Square Garden, pricing them at $25 each plus shipping. These "limited edition" cubes, labeled as "New York City Garbage" and "Not Invited Edition (Taylor & Travis' Wedding)," have already sold out.

Gignac reported selling over 1,300 cubes to buyers in more than 30 countries. The cubes are described as carefully arranged and sealed to prevent leaks or odors, and are signed by the artist. Items found within the garbage include bottle caps, discarded plastic utensils, an AirPod, a Ring Pop, and notably, an ovulation test kit.

The artist stated that the refuse was gathered in Midtown Manhattan following the wedding ceremony. The listing on his website noted that the garbage was collected "from the edge of a love story outside Madison Square Garden, as close to Taylor & Travis’ big day as you could’ve gotten without an invite." Gignac has previously created similar "Pocket Garbage" sculptures to commemorate notable New York City events, such as the New York Giants' 2012 championship parade and the Yankees' 2009 parade.
