Arizona Teacher Accused of Grooming Second Student

Haley Beck, 27, the sister of Baywatch actor Noah Beck, is facing accusations of grooming a second student while employed as a teacher at Centennial High School in Arizona. New legal documents allege that Beck provided the unidentified minor with alcohol, marijuana, food, clothing, and gifts over several months in 2025, a pattern described as "textbook grooming."

These allegations surface following a prior claim that Beck engaged in a sexual relationship with another underage student. The initial notice of claim, filed in January, sought $20 million. The attorney for the second alleged victim is now seeking $7 million.

Both Beck and another teacher at the school, Angela Burlaka, 47, are accused of misconduct involving the same initial student. Burlaka allegedly recorded naked videos of herself and mentioned the student's name. The latest filing against the Peoria Unified School District asserts "negligent and wrongful conduct," claiming the district ignored warning signs and complaints, allowing the alleged abuse to continue until police involvement.

According to the documents, Beck allegedly gave the second student access to alcohol and cannabis and invited him to her home multiple times to consume them. She is also accused of driving the student and a friend while impaired, and the teenager reportedly witnessed sexually explicit content shared by Beck with his friend. Further accusations include allowing the boys to borrow her car for a trip to California and meeting them during the trip to pay for hotel rooms.

Katey McPherson, a youth mental health advocate, told AZFamily that such behavior often involves multiple victims and that the district may have been aware of the situation. "It sounds like this was an ongoing pervasive thing going on with multiple students that the district was aware of and they didn’t step in," McPherson said.

Beck and Burlaka were placed on administrative leave after the allegations became public last year. Beck was fired by the school board in March. Peoria police had previously recommended felony charges against both teachers, but neither has been arrested or formally charged.

The Maricopa County Attorney's Office has reportedly referred the case back to the police for further investigation. An ongoing investigation could potentially lead to resubmitted charges.

Previous reports, including a TikTok video posted by a student, detailed alleged encounters with Beck. One student claimed Beck, who was allegedly intoxicated, invited him to her home after an off-campus graduation party, where "some things happened." It remains unclear if this student is the same individual identified in the recent notice of claim.

An extensive police report from the initial investigation details allegations that Beck began grooming the first victim in December 2024. The misconduct allegedly continued through the student's sophomore and junior years. The report claims Beck provided gifts, food, drugs, and alcohol, paid the student over $600, and gave him access to her car. She also allegedly offered preferential treatment in class, helped boost his grades and attendance, and referred to herself as the student's "sugar momma."

Investigators also found approximately 4,000 text messages exchanged between Beck and the first student discussing oral sex, drugs, and alcohol. A note discovered in Beck's apartment was described by detectives as a tacit admission, reportedly reading, "For this 'relationship' being extremely wrong, I feel like we have really made the most out of it. There is truly no other student (I know, so wrong) that I’d want to do all this with."

A district spokesperson stated that Peoria Unified is aware of the documents and will respond through legal counsel. The investigation is ongoing.
