Arizona Man Accused of Plotting to Have Fiancée Sexually Assaulted by Stranger

An Arizona man has been arrested and accused of arranging for a stranger to sexually assault his fiancée, with chilling Reddit messages allegedly detailing the plot. Zarian Dyer, 23, was taken into custody on Thursday, facing charges related to the alleged scheme.

According to court documents and statements from the Buckeye Police Department, Dyer is accused of recruiting 20-year-old Adrian Ayala to carry out the assault on his fiancée, Bella Torres. The messages reportedly indicate that Dyer communicated with Ayala via Reddit on October 16, inquiring if Torres would be complicit in the plan. Dyer allegedly responded negatively when Ayala asked if she was "in on" the assault.

Ayala was reportedly told that if the plan went awry, he should "run to your car and leave and we can pretend this didn’t happen." When Ayala expressed discomfort if Torres was not amenable to the assault, the user identified as Dyer allegedly wrote, "the more you threaten her the more she’ll get into it..."

Later that day, Dyer sent messages inquiring about Ayala's arrival time, stating he was trying to "fake kill time" at the grocery store. Around 6 p.m., Ayala allegedly arrived at Torres' home in Buckeye, approximately 30 miles outside Phoenix, where she was present with their two young children.

Torres told investigators that shortly after Dyer left to pick up groceries, she saw an unfamiliar man, identified as Ayala, peering through her front door. Her 2-month-old son was asleep in a bedroom, and her 17-month-old daughter was with her when she confronted Ayala, who police said asked to use her bathroom.

According to the report, Ayala then allegedly kicked the door open, grabbed Torres by the neck, and attempted to undo the button on her pants before groping her. Despite the attack, Torres managed to struggle with Ayala, pulling him into the driveway and fighting him off.

During the altercation, Ayala allegedly told Torres, "Your boyfriend told me you’d be into this." When she pressed him for Dyer’s name, Ayala reportedly did not respond.

Ayala allegedly confessed to investigators that he targeted the home after connecting with Dyer online and agreeing to the sinister plan. Authorities reportedly seized electronic devices from Ayala, uncovering the alleged messages between him and Dyer that plotted the assault.

Dyer faces multiple charges including aggravated assault, sexual abuse, attempted sexual assault, kidnapping, and conspiracy. Ayala has been charged with kidnapping, sexual abuse, burglary, and aggravated assault, according to court records.
