A New Jersey bride-to-be received an unexpected wedding gift from Arizona Cardinals owner Michael Bidwell after her presidential suite at a Jersey City hotel was booked by the NFL team for their game against the Giants. Olivia Coppeletti had planned to use the suite for her wedding day preparations, but the hotel informed her it was contractually obligated to reserve rooms for visiting teams on fall weekend game days.

In an email to Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur, Coppeletti described herself as a bride who had "exhausted all conventional options" and had "heart set" on renting the suite for months. She acknowledged the request was "ridiculous" and that the suite was likely reserved for the team's coach. She asked if the suite would be unused and if she could have a chance to book it.

Coppeletti shared her situation on TikTok, explaining that she had wanted the suite for over 10 months. In her email, she offered "eternal gratitude," the satisfaction of making a bride's year, and an open invitation for a post-game drink at her wedding venue, Batello, located across the street from MetLife Stadium.

Bidwell responded to Coppeletti with a video, stating that her email had reached him and that the suite was actually reserved for him, not the coach. He confirmed that he was happy to give up the suite for Coppeletti and her bridesmaids. "Congrats and enjoy your special day," Bidwell told her.

Coppeletti, who married John Prendergast on Sunday, October 4, expressed understanding that "football is more important than my wedding morning." She also stated that she would still be rooting for the Cardinals to beat the Giants, even referencing her fiancé's mention of "Trey McBride."
