An 8-year-old boy from Arizona was recognized as Disneyland Resort's one billionth guest on his birthday. Andres Robles was celebrating his eighth birthday with his parents, Alejandra and Jose, when he was surprised with the honor as he walked through the park gates on Friday.

The family attended a ceremony at the Main Street USA train station platform. There, a beaming Robles unveiled a sign that read "Population 1,000,000,000." Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, and Donald Duck were present for the celebration.

Following the ceremony, Robles received a VIP tour guide for the day. The family was also treated to a tour of Walt Disney's private apartment, located on the park grounds, and experienced the Soarin' Across America attraction. The attraction commemorates the 250th birthday of America.

Disneyland Resort, which includes Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, welcomed its first guests in 1955 and celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2025. The park has served as a model for other Disney theme parks globally, continuing its legacy as an icon in entertainment and theme park experiences. According to DisneyParksBlog, the resort aims to uphold Walt Disney's vision of continuous innovation and creativity.
