Ariel Winter, known for her role in "Modern Family," has relocated from Los Angeles to Nashville, Tennessee, seeking a significant change in lifestyle. The actress, who spent 20 years in the Los Angeles area, purchased a home in College Grove, Tennessee, in May 2022.
Winter, 28, stated her desire for a "change of pace" and an escape from the hustle of Los Angeles. She expressed a longing for seasons and snow, which are less common in Southern California. A significant factor in her decision was the desire to "get away from paparazzi" and live a more "normal life."
While Winter appreciates the peace and quiet of Nashville, she finds being away from her close-knit circle of family and friends in Los Angeles to be challenging. "I think that is what I love so much about LA – just that, not LA [itself]," she commented.
When Winter does return to Los Angeles, she often stays with her former "Modern Family" co-star, Nolan Gould. "That is my brother," Winter said of Gould, with whom she starred for 11 seasons. "Best friends since the beginning. We are family without a doubt. I love him so much. He’s the best, and living together is so fun. It’s just been the best experience ever."
Winter's current work primarily involves voice acting, including her role in Season 2 of "The Sisters Grimm" on Apple TV+. She described the animated projects as a different kind of acting experience, where she brings a character to life. Winter has expressed enthusiasm for being involved in projects that she believes have a positive influence on young people.
