Pop star Ariana Grande has filed a lawsuit against two unidentified hackers accused of leaking unreleased music and studio footage. Grande alleges the hackers gained access to the material by compromising the computers of her collaborators, including photographers and producers.

The leaked content was reportedly sold on the dark web for significant sums of money. According to court documents, 45 unreleased songs belonging to Grande were hacked, stolen, and leaked in 2023 alone, with hundreds of similar incidents occurring since her music debut in 2011.

Grande's legal team initiated the lawsuit in Los Angeles to uncover the identities of the individuals responsible. This legal action aligns with the singer's publicly expressed desire to hold hackers accountable for the unauthorized distribution of her work. Previously, Grande commented on a song called "Fantasize," which gained widespread attention online after being leaked. She stated during a 2024 interview that sessions intended for a television show were adapted, and the song was subsequently stolen and leaked by what she described as "pirates, crooks, illegal!"
