AOC Grabs In-N-Out Burger During California Campaign Stop
The congresswoman visited a fast-food restaurant in Delano after campaigning for a Democratic House candidate.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez visited an In-N-Out Burger in Delano, California, on Friday, emerging with a bag of food after campaigning for Democratic House candidate Randy Villegas.
Ocasio-Cortez stopped at the fast-food chain after attending an event for Villegas, who is challenging Republican Rep. David Valadao for California's 22nd Congressional District. The district was redrawn by Democrats to potentially favor their party.
Valadao has sought to distance himself from former President Donald Trump in the district, which Trump narrowly won against Vice President Kamala Harris in 2024. The incumbent congressman voted to impeach Trump in 2021 but later supported his policies in 2025.
Ocasio-Cortez was also scheduled to campaign in Las Vegas on Saturday, where she was slated to hold an early vote rally with Rep. Steven Horsford.
This visit follows a recent trip to Michigan where Ocasio-Cortez visited a Culver's restaurant and expressed enthusiasm for their food. In 2022, however, she had described In-N-Out's fries as "overrated" and "dry."
