Anti-Migrant Activist Faces Court Over Dover Site Entry Charges

Anti-migrant activist Daniel Thomas appeared in court facing charges related to alleged offenses at a migrant processing center in Dover. The 37-year-old, also known as Danny Tommo, is accused of entering a restricted zone at the center on March 31.

Additional charges filed against Thomas include using threatening words or behavior in Dover on April 1 and obstructing a lawful activity on April 6. Court documents also state he is charged with entering or remaining in Dover Docks without permission or lawful business. A further charge involves racially aggravated harassment by allegedly using threatening or abusive words.

Thomas appeared via videolink at Margate Magistrates' Court on Friday, wearing a grey T-shirt and rosary beads. The case has been sent for a further hearing at Westminster Magistrates' Court on November 4.

Earlier in the week, Thomas was denied bail during a separate crown court hearing concerning the alleged slashing of a dinghy in the English Channel.
