Anti-Migrant Activist Faces Court on Restricted Zone Charges

Anti-migrant activist Daniel Thomas, also known as Danny Tommo, appeared in court on Friday via video link, charged with entering a restricted zone at a migrant processing centre in Dover. Thomas, 37, appeared at Margate Magistrates' Court in Kent wearing a grey T-shirt and rosary beads.
His case has been sent for a further management hearing at Westminster Magistrates' Court on November 4. According to court documents, Thomas previously pleaded guilty to entering a restricted zone at Western Jet Foil in Dover on March 31 during an August 27 court appearance.
He has denied additional charges, including using threatening words or behavior in Dover on April 1, and obstructing a lawful activity on April 6. Court documents also state he pleaded not guilty to charges of entering or remaining in Dover Docks without lawful business or permission on April 1 and April 6. Thomas is further accused of racially aggravated harassment for allegedly using threatening or abusive words in Dover on April 1, which may have caused harassment, alarm, or distress to a person.
