Annie Knight has disclosed that James Brayshaw, the father of her fiancé Henry Brayshaw, will not be attending their upcoming wedding ceremony. Knight, an adult content creator, confirmed that James Brayshaw has not been part of Henry's life for several years, and consequently, no invitation was extended.

"Henry and he haven't had a relationship for a few years, so it is not a shock to us," Knight told the Daily Mail. "To be fair, we didn't actually send him an invite."

Knight, who is set to marry Henry on the Gold Coast in October, also shared that she met her future father-in-law only once, many years ago, when she and Henry were just friends. She stated that they have not seen him since they became a couple and that Henry and his father have not spoken for approximately three to four years. The estrangement is not attributed to her line of work, and James Brayshaw has not publicly commented on the situation.

Wedding Preparations and Costs

The couple's wedding preparations are underway with a reported budget of $180,000. This figure represents an increase from previous estimates, though Knight indicated there will be no further spending. She mentioned that the cost of her wedding dress, initially budgeted at $40,000, came in at $12,000 after she found a less expensive option.

Knight also revealed that two bridesmaids were removed from the guest list after allegedly speaking negatively about her and Henry behind their backs. She described this as upsetting, given their perceived closeness and trust.

The wedding expenses include $60,000 for the venue, $10,000 for photography and videography, $7,000 for groomsmen's attire, $4,000 for hair and makeup, $3,000 for bridesmaids' dresses, and $2,700 for social media content. The total expenditure is significantly higher than the average Australian wedding cost, which is approximately $35,000. The engagement itself was announced in March of the previous year, and the oval-shaped diamond engagement ring is estimated to be worth up to $200,000.
