Marcellus Wiley, husband of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum Annemarie Wiley, was arrested on a domestic violence battery charge over Fourth of July weekend in Florida, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by TMZ. The retired NFL player, 51, allegedly threatened to kill his wife before she called the police to report a battery during a confrontation at their hotel room in Orlando.

Annemarie Wiley told officers she was scared of her partner and requested he be removed from their accommodations. She also claimed that the day prior, Marcellus had "used one finger to sternly and intentionally poke her in the cheek" in front of their 7-year-old daughter. Annemarie alleged an "unreported history of violence towards her in the past," though Marcellus denied these claims.

The former defensive end presented authorities with text messages that he indicated were cordial between himself and Annemarie. Despite this, he was taken into custody. The couple was in Orlando with their three children for a basketball tournament.

Marcellus Wiley is being held without bond in the Orange County Jail. Representatives for both Marcellus and Annemarie did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The couple has been married since June 2014.

Annemarie, who was part of Season 13 of "RHOBH," informed officers over the weekend that she intends to divorce Marcellus. Earlier this year, Marcellus Wiley faced accusations of sexual assault from four women, including a former ESPN employee. Two of these accusers claimed he raped them between 1995 and 1999. One woman alleged that Marcellus began pursuing her when she was 13 years old.

Marcellus Wiley issued a denial of these accusations in May via YouTube, stating he would "continue to challenge all these false accusations." He had previously denied claims of sexual assault made by three individuals in 2023.
