Anne Robinson Splits With Queen Camilla's Ex-Husband Andrew Parker Bowles

Anne Robinson, known for her sharp interviewing style on shows like "The Weakest Link," has reportedly ended her relationship with Andrew Parker Bowles, the ex-husband of Queen Camilla. Robinson, 81, has moved from the Cotswolds, where Parker Bowles, 86, resides, to London, and has begun referring to their relationship in the past tense.

When asked about Parker Bowles, Robinson stated, "I might have done," adding, "It’s very difficult to talk about a relationship where part of it is owned by somebody else, so out of politeness I don’t talk about it." While Robinson had previously spoken publicly about her relationship with Parker Bowles, the father of Queen Camilla's two children, he had remained largely private about it and was rarely photographed with her.

Speaking on the "Experience Is Everything" podcast, Robinson expressed her belief in the value of shared life with a partner, referencing Joan Rivers' sentiment that one needs someone to "go home to and talk nothing to." She admitted to missing that but also stated she did not wish to compromise. Robinson, now 81, maintains an active lifestyle, practicing Pilates and running, and expressed uncertainty about whether she could live full-time with another person.

Robinson had been single for 17 years before meeting Parker Bowles at a lunch with mutual friends. The late author Jilly Cooper had previously revealed that Parker Bowles was one of three men who inspired her character Rupert Campbell-Black in the novel "Riders."
