Anne Hathaway, 43, was seen on a rare public outing with her family in New York City on Monday, displaying her prominent baby bump. The actress, who announced in June that she is expecting her third child, was accompanied by her husband, Adam Shulman, 45, and their sons, Jonathan, 10, and Jack, six.
The couple, married since 2012, held hands with their children as they navigated the city. Hathaway opted for a casual ensemble, wearing a black crewneck sweater over a midi dress and Adidas sneakers. She completed her look with a black baseball cap and sunglasses.
Hathaway's outing comes as she prepares for the release of her upcoming film, "Verity," scheduled for an October 2 theatrical debut. The psychosexual thriller, based on a Colleen Hoover novel, also stars Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett. Hathaway plays Verity Crawford, a thriller writer who becomes debilitated after a mysterious accident, leading her husband to hire another writer to ghostwrite her remaining books.
In April, Hathaway spoke about the joys and realities of pregnancy in her 40s, noting the lower odds but expressing immense gratitude for her pregnancies. She previously addressed online rumors questioning the authenticity of her pregnancy bump, responding on Instagram that it was a "real bump."
The actress has had a busy year with multiple film releases, including "Mother Mary," "The Devil Wears Prada 2," "The Odyssey," and "The End of Oak Street." "Verity" is set to be released next month. Hathaway also announced she will appear in "Days of Thunder 2" with Tom Cruise, slated for a summer 2028 release.
