Pregnant actress Anne Hathaway, 43, made an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers in New York, showcasing her baby bump in a white silk dress. Hathaway is currently on a promotional tour for the highly anticipated film "The Odyssey," where she portrays Penelope, the wife of Odysseus, played by Matt Damon. The film is set to release on July 17.

Hathaway shared moments from her promotional activities on Instagram Stories, including a video from her car showing a large Trojan Horse prop stationed outside the film's New York premiere. "We're everywhere," the actress joked in the video.

In addition to her role in "The Odyssey," Hathaway has several other films scheduled for release this year, including "Mother Mary," "Verity," and "The End of Oak Street."

The film "The Odyssey" is an adaptation of Homer's ancient Greek epic. Despite positive critical reviews, the movie has faced online backlash concerning its casting decisions. Specifically, the inclusion of Black performers Lupita Nyong'o and Zendaya, as well as transgender actor Elliot Page, has drawn criticism from some audiences.

Hathaway, who is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman, announced her pregnancy in late June via an Instagram post. She is already a mother to two sons, Jonathan and Jack. Hathaway has spoken about her gratitude for her pregnancies and parenthood, telling People in April, "I know that not everybody who wants to be a parent gets to be. I'm just blown away by how fortunate I am."

She also credited her husband for his support while she works. "I'm so lucky that he's my partner that I spend my life with. If I didn't know that not before this past year, I think I really know it now because with absolutely everything he's just, he's on it. He holds it down," she said.

"The Odyssey" is directed by Christopher Nolan and reportedly has a budget of $250 million, making it his most expensive film to date. It was also filmed entirely on IMAX 70mm cameras.
