Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson Premiere "Verity" in New York
Stars Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson attended the New York premiere of their film "Verity," showcasing glamorous fashion.
Anne Hathaway and Dakota Johnson brought a dose of glamour to the New York premiere of their upcoming film "Verity" at AMC Lincoln Square on Tuesday. Hathaway, 43, appeared radiant, showcasing her pregnancy in a dazzling black sequin gown. She styled her brunette hair in a half-up, half-down high ponytail and complemented her look with silver earrings.
The actress, who is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman, had missed the London premiere of the film the previous week. Her co-star, Johnson, 36, opted for a bold fashion statement, displaying her toned abs in a white fringe bra and a matching skirt.
In "Verity," Johnson portrays Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer tasked with completing the remaining books in a successful series by best-selling author Verity Crawford, played by Hathaway. Crawford is incapacitated after a mysterious accident, leading her husband, Jeremy Crawford, to hire Ashleigh.
Upon arriving at the couple's estate, Ashleigh discovers an unfinished manuscript that hints at dark secrets from Verity and Jeremy's past. The adaptation was written by Nick Antosca and directed by Michael Showalter.
Josh Hartnett, 48, also attended the premiere, portraying Verity's husband Jeremy Crawford. He appeared dapper in a grey suit paired with black dress shoes.
"Verity" is scheduled for release in cinemas on October 2.
