Ann Widdecombe, 78, a former Conservative minister and spokeswoman for Reform UK, gave a pre-recorded radio interview approximately 20 minutes before authorities believe she was attacked. Widdecombe was discovered deceased at her residence in Devon on Thursday, July 8, after having suffered severe injuries.
The interview, lasting about nine minutes, was conducted with the British Christian radio station TWR-UK via video link. It was not broadcast at the time. Portions of the recording were later shared by the station with Times Radio, which aired the interview on Tuesday.
During the interview, Widdecombe discussed her support for Nigel Farage, the leader of Reform UK.
