Angie Katsanevas, a star of "Real Housewives of Salt Lake City," and her husband, Shawn Trujillo, have separated after 27 years of marriage. Multiple sources confirmed the separation on Monday.

The couple, who wed in June 1999, share a 15-year-old daughter, Elektra. Katsanevas, who co-founded Lunatic Fringe Salon with Trujillo the same year they married, did not post on social media to commemorate their 27th wedding anniversary last month. In June 2025, she had celebrated their 26th anniversary, writing on Instagram, "Seems like yesterday I booked an appointment for a blowdry with this dreamy guy... The rest is HAIRstory."

It remains unclear if the couple's marital issues will be featured in the upcoming seventh season of "RHOSLC," which began filming in late February and concluded in late May. New seasons typically premiere in the fall.

During Season 4, Katsanevas, 52, faced rumors that Trujillo was cheating on her. She expressed shock and hurt that her co-stars would spread such chatter, which she considered an attack on their relationship. Trujillo, 55, denied the accusations and stated on "Watch What Happens Live" in October 2023, "For me, it’s not a gay-straight thing; it’s an infidelity thing." He added, "We love our gay community. We’ve been embedded in it for 30 years now based on what we do for our business. But I’m here to support Angie, and I’ll take the hits."

Later that season, Katsanevas acknowledged that she and Trujillo were struggling to prioritize their marriage due to the demands of raising their daughter and managing their business. More recently, internet users noted Trujillo following several divorce-related Instagram accounts. He claimed in January to Reality Shrine that this activity was not related to Katsanevas, stating it was because "someone close to me going through a rough time. This person sends me pages with thoughts and info on what they are going through."
