Angelina Jolie has disclosed that she has not dated anyone in the ten years since her divorce from Brad Pitt, a period she describes as having profoundly changed her. The revelation came during an interview with Yahoo Entertainment while promoting her film "Couture."

"To be candid, I haven't dated since I divorced a decade ago," Jolie stated. She explained her focus on her children and family has meant that her personal romantic life has not been a central part of her existence. Now 51, Jolie indicated a willingness to re-evaluate her approach to life, noting that the experiences she has endured have "broken" her "a little bit."

"So yes, things are changing, but in a way I didn't expect. It doesn't feel like I'm 51 and starting to think of being older. I'm thinking I have to live again. Be free again," she told the magazine. "In a way that maybe life has broken me a little bit."

Jolie and Pitt, who were famously known as 'Brangelina,' separated in 2016 after two years of marriage and a total of 11 years together. Their divorce was finalized in December 2024, concluding a protracted and often contentious legal battle that spanned eight years. Jolie's attorney, James Simon, conveyed that the actress was relieved to have concluded this chapter, stating that she and their six children have been focused on finding peace and healing.

Sources close to Jolie have previously described the divorce process as a difficult experience for her and the family. However, a source close to Pitt has countered these claims, suggesting that Jolie has engaged in "one-sided attacks" and a "distortion of facts" throughout the proceedings.

While Jolie has remained single, Pitt has been publicly dating actress Ines de Ramon since 2022. The couple share six children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne. Sources close to Jolie have suggested that the trauma from her relationship with Pitt has made it difficult for her to trust men and that she is not currently seeking a serious relationship.
