Angel Reese Rejects Influencer's Marriage Proposal During WNBA Finals

During Game 3 of the WNBA Finals between the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries, social media influencer Tiki attempted to propose to Atlanta Dream player Angel Reese. Tiki, who has a significant following on TikTok, wore a tuxedo and held a sign reading "Angel will you marry me?" as Reese was at the free-throw line.

Tiki later posted a video of the interaction, which garnered a response from Reese in the comments. She wrote, "Not in this lifetime, but I have some fine friendsssss." The exchange was captured and shared across social media platforms.

The Dream and the Valkyries were engaged in a competitive series. In Game 4, the Golden State Valkyries defeated the Atlanta Dream 67-62, tying the series at two games apiece. Reese had a strong performance in Game 2, contributing 30 points and 16 rebounds to the Dream's victory. However, in Game 4, she recorded eight points and nine rebounds, shooting 2-of-12 from the field.

Game 5 of the WNBA Finals was scheduled to take place on Monday night in California.
