Andy Pettitte's Son Celebrates Wedding with Baseball-Themed Nuptials

Yankees prospect Luke Pettitte and his wife Brooklyn recently celebrated their wedding with a series of baseball-themed elements. The couple married on October 4 in Houston, their hometown, months after Luke was drafted by the Yankees.

Details from their wedding reception at Boxwood Manor included a custom seating chart crafted with baseball bats and a home plate sign. The cocktail hour featured baseball bat drink stirrers, signage, and cocktail napkins. Guests were treated to popcorn, crackerjacks, and cotton candy, served by waitstaff, as Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York" played.

The mocktail menu offered baseball-themed drinks, including "the sideline sweetheart" and "the two-way." Other decorative elements included signage that read, "Oh hey batter batter love is in full swing!!!" and a "Little League" corner with custom coloring books.

Following their engagement in May, Luke and Brooklyn, who celebrated three years together in January, shared a behind-the-scenes video of their wedding. The video was captioned, "MARRY! A! YANKEE!"

During the after-party, the newlyweds shared a kiss as guests cheered and tossed silver and blue streamers.

Luke, a right-handed pitcher and designated hitter, was assigned to the Tampa Tarpons, a Single-A affiliate of the Yankees, in August. He and Brooklyn both attended Dallas Baptist University, where he played for the men's baseball team and she was a cheerleader.

Andy Pettitte, a five-time World Series champion and three-time All-Star, pitched for the Yankees for 15 seasons, compiling an 18-year MLB career ERA of 3.85. He was part of the Yankees' "Core Four" alongside Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, and Jorge Posada, and currently serves as an advisor for the team.
