Andy Murray Stars in Lego Ad Aimed at Adults
The retired tennis star encourages adults to embrace the joy of building with plastic bricks.
Retired tennis legend Andy Murray has lent his distinctive deadpan humor to a new advertising campaign promoting Lego sets for adults. The advert features Murray, clad in cycling attire, seemingly preparing for a ride only to turn his attention to building a 1,015-piece Lego Icons Road Bike set.
In a characteristically dry delivery, Murray states that constructing the model was "the best time of my life." The campaign, which encourages adults to "awaken their joy" through Lego building, marks one of several recent advertising ventures for the 39-year-old former tennis champion. Murray retired from professional tennis in 2024 and has since become an ambassador for various brands, including Walker's Shortbread, Albert Bartlett, Purina, and Callaway golf clubs.
Murray described the Lego set as requiring focus and patience, adding that completing it results in an "unexpected feeling of pure, simple joy."
