Andy Lee Recounts Wedding Festivities in NYC

Andy Lee has shared his thoughts on his recent wedding to Rebecca Harding, stating that the celebrations felt as though they "gone on for weeks." The comedian was observed arriving at a brunch in New York City, the same city where the couple tied the knot. He was seen in a casual ensemble of a white T-shirt, jeans, and a baseball cap as he entered Old Mates Pub in Lower Manhattan. This Australian-themed establishment is co-owned by Lee, Hugh Jackman, Hamish Blake, and Mick Fanning.

Lee told the Daily Mail that his wedding to Harding was "13 years in the making" and described it as "amazing." He also expressed how his bride took his breath away on their wedding day, noting, "She was perfectly Bec." Harding, according to Lee, looked stunning in a white strapless gown, believed to be by an Australian designer, when she departed The Bowery Hotel for the ceremony. Her attire featured a dramatic long train and a structured bodice, complemented by diamond earrings and her engagement ring. Her hair was styled in a half-up, half-down manner, and she wore minimal makeup.

The post-wedding brunch saw a number of celebrities in attendance, many of whom opted for sunglasses to maintain a low profile. Among them was actor Hugh Jackman, who offered a peace sign to the press and stated he felt "awesome." Comedian Hamish Blake, Lee's long-time comedy partner, also made an appearance, reporting he felt "good" and jokingly remarking on the distance from Australia for the event. Radio personality Lauren Phillips and her boyfriend Paul O'Brien were also seen arriving at the venue.

Lee mentioned he had three groomsmen: Hamish Blake, one of his brothers, and his best friend Michael Horgan.

The couple had traveled to the Big Apple for their wedding festivities over the weekend, with a pre-wedding gathering observed on Monday night in Manhattan. Earlier in their relationship, Lee famously met Harding in 2014 at a Melbourne café, where he left his email address on a napkin. Harding later initiated contact, leading to their first date the following day. Lee proposed to Harding in 2024, after a decade of dating, a proposal she admitted to being genuinely shocked by despite the length of their relationship.

Looking ahead, the couple intends to divide their time between Melbourne and New York, where Lee is a part-owner of the Old Mates pub.
