Andy Lee and Rebecca Harding Marry in New York City

Comedian Andy Lee, 45, and model Rebecca Harding, 36, have married in New York City, 12 years after their initial meeting at a Melbourne café where Harding worked as a waitress. The couple exchanged vows on Tuesday surrounded by notable friends and colleagues.

Harding arrived at the ceremony in a strapless white gown, reportedly by an Australian designer, featuring a long train and a structured bodice. She accessorized with diamond earrings and her engagement ring. Her hair was styled in a half-up, half-down manner. Among the guests were Lee's close friend and co-star Hamish Blake and his wife, beauty entrepreneur Zoë Foster Blake, as well as Nova radio host Lauren Phillips and her fiancé, aviation tycoon Paul O'Brien.

The couple's relationship began in 2014 when Lee famously left his email address for Harding on a napkin at a café. Harding contacted Lee, and they had their first date the following day. After a brief separation early in their relationship, they reunited and have remained together since.

Lee proposed to Harding in 2024, after a decade of dating. Harding expressed surprise at the proposal, which Lee announced on his podcast, "Hamish and Andy." Blake described himself and his wife as being moved to tears by the news.

The couple, who are undertaking a renovation of a historic mansion in Melbourne, reportedly planned the proposal by inviting Harding to their "new old house" under the pretense of filming social media content related to the renovation. Lee then presented Harding with a napkin, symbolizing their initial meeting, before proposing.

Lee and Harding first appeared publicly as a couple at the 2015 Australian Open. In 2022, they confirmed a six-month separation in 2016, which Harding attributed to the pressure of dating in the public eye. They later realized their compatibility during their time apart.

Speculation about their engagement had circulated for years. In February 2024, Lee addressed rumors of a secret marriage during an appearance on "The Hundred," denying he had eloped. In 2019, a publicist's email referring to Harding as Lee's fiancée and comments from Georgie Gardner on the "Today" show had previously fueled engagement rumors.

Lee and Harding plan to divide their time between Melbourne and New York, where Lee has a stake in an Australian pub called Old Mates.
