Andy Cohen, 58, has shared that his close friend Anderson Cooper, 59, gives his new boyfriend, Kevin Sobieski, a "two thumbs up." Cohen revealed this during a recent appearance on "Today with Jenna & Sheinelle" while promoting the 20th anniversary of "Real Housewives."

Cohen has been dating Sobieski, a 42-year-old Harvard Business School graduate, for over a year after they met at a party. When asked about Cooper's thoughts on his new partner, Cohen stated, "Two thumbs up from Anderson." He also expressed his intention to help Cooper find a romantic partner, saying, "He's next. I'm going to set him up next."

The two television personalities have previously faced decades of romance rumors, and Cohen noted that they once almost went on a blind date before their friendship solidified. During the "Today" segment, Cohen also discussed details of his relationship with Sobieski, including that their first kiss occurred on Cohen's terrace and that both partners are involved in planning dates.

Addressing their 16-year age difference, Cohen, who is 58, stated that it does not significantly impact their relationship. "He's younger, but he's kind of the adult in the relationship," Cohen joked. He described their dynamic as "copacetic," with similar views on life.

Cohen confirmed that the relationship has been ongoing for 13 months, a detail that refines earlier reports that suggested they had been dating for only a few months. He first spoke publicly about Sobieski in June on his SiriusXM show "Radio Andy," calling him his "person" and expressing his disbelief and happiness at finding him.

Cohen emphasized his high standards in dating, stating he values his time and life too much to settle for the wrong person. He also recently wished Cooper a happy birthday via Instagram, sharing a photo and calling him a "great dad, great journalist, great friend."
