Andy Cohen recounted a peculiar street encounter on his "Andy Cohen’s Daddy Diaries" podcast, where a fan attempting to take a selfie with him accidentally displayed an explicit photo on his phone.

Cohen described the fan as nervous and shaky when he approached for a photo. Instead of a typical selfie, the fan mistakenly pulled up what Cohen characterized as "very clearly a d—k pic." Rather than looking away, Cohen admitted he stopped the fan and said, "Wait a minute, I want to see that." He even "zoomed in" on the image, joking with the fan, "You look so great!"

After the initial awkwardness, Cohen quipped to the fan, "What do you have to be nervous about? You just showed me your d—k. How could you be nervous now? Look where we’ve been." The two then took a selfie before parting ways.

Cohen, 58, later expressed some self-doubt about sharing the anecdote publicly. He stated that he had begun to feel "shame-related feelings about me speaking so freely" and acknowledged that he doesn't "have to share every thought on the radio." He revealed that listener feedback prompted this reflection, with some direct messages condemning his decision to discuss the explicit photo, particularly given his relationship status.

One message reportedly urged Cohen to apologize, arguing that he should have ignored the photo, especially as he has a boyfriend. The commenter also found it "inappropriate" for Cohen to have engaged with the private image. Cohen clarified that his boyfriend, Kevin Sobieski, was the first person he told about the incident, and Sobieski found the story humorous. Cohen and Sobieski have been dating since the previous summer and made their relationship Instagram official in June.
