Andy Carroll and Lou Teasdale have fueled speculation of a reunion after re-sharing past photographs together on Instagram. The couple, who have experienced an on-off relationship and reportedly split for a third time, had previously unfollowed and blocked each other on social media.
Sources indicate that their latest separation occurred after footballer Andy Carroll, 37, allegedly broke a promise to reduce his alcohol consumption, leading to anger from make-up artist Lou Teasdale, 42. This alleged breach of commitment reportedly led to the couple removing traces of their relationship online and blocking one another.
The recent activity on their Instagram accounts, where they have refollowed each other and reposted previous images, has led to rumors of reconciliation.
Reports suggest that the couple experienced a significant confrontation in Ibiza, where Lou Teasdale allegedly traveled to confront Carroll over his social activities. A source told The Sun that Carroll's return to partying and drinking, despite a promise to abstain, was perceived as disrespectful by Teasdale.
Carroll's marriage to former TOWIE star Billi Mucklow officially ended in July 2024, following what has been described by friends as a turbulent relationship. The couple had been together for over a decade and were engaged within a year of meeting. Their wedding took place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hampshire, but the marriage reportedly lasted less than two years.
Carroll has five children: Arlo, Wolf, and Marvel with his estranged wife Billi, and Emilie Rose and Lucas from a previous relationship with Faye Johnstone. In a statement posted to Instagram, Carroll confirmed that he and Billi had privately separated earlier in the year and were proceeding with divorce proceedings.
