Andrew Cuomo Buys $9.6 Million Hamptons Estate
Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has purchased a sprawling estate in the Hamptons valued at over $9 million, featuring extensive amenities and multiple structures.
Andrew Cuomo has purchased a $9.6 million estate in the Hamptons, sources confirmed. The property, located in the Southampton area, encompasses four parcels of land and includes two houses, with the former governor reportedly acquiring it as an investment.
The main house on the waterfront property, which was formerly a lodge, features nine bedrooms. Additionally, the estate includes a guest house, a tennis court, a swimming pool, a gym, and a wine cellar.
Sources indicate that Cuomo acquired the property via an LLC in a cash deal, according to records from the Suffolk County Clerk’s Office. The 68-year-old former governor also maintains an apartment in New York City.
Cuomo has been a recognizable figure in the Hamptons, known to frequent political hotspots and engage in activities such as fishing with his brother, NewsNation anchor Chris Cuomo. He has also previously spoken at local events and was recently named co-chair of a joint venture involving the New York Stock Exchange and crypto exchange OKX.
As news of the real estate acquisition emerged, Cuomo was reportedly en route to Singapore to speak at TOKEN2049, an international crypto conference.
