Actress Ana de Armas has been seen vacationing with Venezuelan musician Alberto 'Beto' Montenegro, putting an apparent end to her previous romance with actor Tom Cruise. The pair were photographed sharing a kiss on the shore in Formentera, Spain, on Sunday, August 2.
De Armas, 38, and Montenegro, 37, were observed holding hands and taking selfies during their outing. De Armas wore a black and white swimsuit coverup, while Montenegro sported a white T-shirt, blue swim trunks, and a green baseball cap.
The couple later joined friends for a sunset boat ride. De Armas changed into a leopard-print bikini and sat with Montenegro on the deck of a yacht, where he was seen playing with her hair.
Montenegro is the lead vocalist and guitarist for the Grammy-winning Venezuelan band Rawayana, which blends elements of reggae, funk, and pop. The band is scheduled to perform in Peru on August 15 and later in Los Angeles in November. Montenegro is also part of the South American supergroup Astropical.
This public display of affection follows de Armas's previous relationship with Tom Cruise, which reportedly ended in October after nine months. Sources indicated that de Armas felt the romance was moving too fast and became uncomfortable with the intensity.
