Amy Robach, T.J. Holmes’ Exes Are ‘Cordial’ Amid Their Own Engagement

Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig, the former spouses of T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach respectively, are maintaining a cordial relationship with the newlywed former "GMA3" hosts, a source told Page Six. Fiebig and Shue recently announced their engagement, a development that comes after Holmes and Robach tied the knot.

"They're all cordial and friendly because they have to be for Sabine," the source said, referring to Holmes and Fiebig's 13-year-old daughter. "But that's really it."

The insider described Shue and Fiebig as "such nice people" who are "so happy and in love." The source added that the engaged couple are "very much alike. They're both so kind and sweet, so there couldn’t be bad blood if they tried. They're just very happy it ended up working out."

Robach and Shue, who were married in 2010, finalized their divorce in March 2023. Holmes and Fiebig, married in 2010, finalized their split in October 2023. They share one daughter, Sabine.

Robach, 53, and Holmes, 49, first attracted public attention in November 2022 when they were photographed together outside the "Good Morning America" studios. At the time, both were still married to Shue and Fiebig, respectively, though they denied any infidelity. Sources indicated to Page Six that Robach and Holmes were involved in a months-long affair prior to their divorces.

An internal investigation by ABC News followed, leading to Robach and Holmes being removed from their on-air roles in December 2022. By January 2023, ABC News confirmed the show would continue without them.

Robach and Holmes became engaged in September 2025 and married in a private ceremony in Arkansas on September 19, 2026. Their former "GMA" colleagues were not reported to be in attendance.

Meanwhile, Shue and Fiebig also found new relationships after their respective divorces. They made their first public appearance as a couple on a red carpet in December 2024 and announced their engagement on October 21, stating that the proposal had occurred in the spring.

"I don’t know how it happened, but there’s a happy ending," Shue told People upon announcing his engagement. "I had to accept my own part in marriage not working out for me and in not understanding myself well enough and not understanding what matters in a relationship well enough to find the right person for me, and that has been an extraordinary gift."
