Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes Exclude Former GMA Colleagues from Secret Wedding
The couple, who left ABC News following a workplace scandal, did not invite their former colleagues to their recent Arkansas ceremony.
Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, who were previously co-hosts on "Good Morning America," did not extend invitations to their former colleagues for their recent secret wedding in Arkansas. The couple married in a private ceremony in Washington County on September 19.
A source close to the situation told Page Six that many of the former "GMA" colleagues, particularly those Robach was once close with, were not on the guest list. "Everyone was very close to Amy when she worked at ‘GMA3,'" the source said. "She’s lost touch with a lot of people from there since she left. People who would’ve been a part of a milestone for her years ago were not included."
This marks the third marriage for both Robach and Holmes. Robach shares two daughters from her previous marriages, while Holmes has three children from his previous relationships. The couple's union follows their departure from ABC News in January 2023, after they were taken off the air in December 2022 amid an investigation into their workplace romance. At the time, both denied allegations of infidelity to their then-spouses.
ABC News President Kim Godwin stated at the time of their departure, "After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News. We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions."
Since leaving the network, Robach and Holmes have launched a podcast together. Their former spouses have since entered into a relationship with each other and have reportedly moved in together.
