Amber Heard Enjoys Secluded Spanish Life Amidst Johnny Depp's Hollywood Comeback

Amber Heard has shared a glimpse into her seemingly tranquil life in Spain, posting a carefree selfie captured by her five-year-old daughter, Oonagh. The image, shared on Instagram, shows the Aquaman star smiling in a black tank top and denim jeans under the warm sun.

Heard, who relocated to Spain following the 2022 defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp, has been increasingly active on social media, offering followers insights into her life away from the spotlight. Recently, she documented a dinner at a three Michelin-star restaurant in Girona, sharing a photo of herself enjoying the establishment's wine list while wearing a vibrant red dress. Earlier in the month, she also posted about completing her first half marathon, expressing her elation after finishing the 21.1K race.

Heard officially moved to Spain in 2023 with her daughter Oonagh and has been rebuilding her life there. In May of the previous year, she announced the birth of her twins, Agnes and Ocean, expressing profound joy in expanding her family.

Earlier this year, Heard spoke about the lasting impact of the 2022 defamation trial with Depp in the documentary "Silenced." The trial concluded with Heard ordered to pay Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages, though she was awarded $2 million in compensatory damages on her countersuit. The case was eventually settled, and Heard paid Depp $1 million, which he subsequently donated to charity.

Meanwhile, Johnny Depp is reportedly on the cusp of a major Hollywood comeback. Recent reports suggest a strong test screening for his role as Ebenezer Scrooge in an upcoming film, "Ebenezer," a spin-off of "A Christmas Carol." According to Puck, studio executives were reportedly impressed with Depp's performance, which scored significantly high marks, particularly with the demographic of women over 35. Depp's last major studio film role was in 2018's "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald." The film "Ebenezer" is slated for release on November 13 and also features Rupert Grint, Andrea Riseborough, Sam Claflin, Daisy Ridley, Tramell Tillman, and Ian McKellen. Depp made an in-character appearance at San Diego Comic-Con in July to promote the movie. His potential return to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has also been a topic of discussion, with producer Jerry Bruckheimer confirming recent talks about reprising the role.
