Amazon has officially renewed the hit series "Reacher" for a fifth season, building on the momentum of its currently airing fourth season. The renewal announcement was made in July.

Season 5 will be based on Lee Child's 2018 novel "Make Me." The upcoming season will introduce four new series regulars: Jay Baruchel, Kevin Durand, Amanda Ip, and Ciara Bravo.

"Reacher" season 4 consists of eight episodes, with new installments dropping Wednesdays on Prime Video. The season finale is set to release later this month. Episode 7 is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, September 9, at 3:01 a.m. ET, followed by the season finale, Episode 8, on Wednesday, September 16, at the same time.

The series, which stars Alan Ritchson as the titular former military police major, is a significant draw for Amazon's Prime Video. "Reacher" is available for streaming exclusively on the platform. Prime Video offers a 30-day free trial for new subscribers, after which Amazon Prime costs $14.99 per month or $139 annually. A discounted Prime for Young Adults membership is also available for individuals aged 18-24, offering a 50% discount on the monthly price after a six-month trial, verified by age.
