Amazon Prime Big Deal Days Feature Generator Sales Amid Storm Season
Discounts on portable and dual-fuel generators are available during the fall sale, offering solutions for power outages.
Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days event is offering discounts on generators, providing an opportunity for consumers to purchase backup power solutions ahead of potential storm-related outages. The sale, which runs from October 6-7, 2026, features deals on various types of generators, including portable battery stations and larger dual-fuel models.
The timing of the sale coincides with ongoing storm activity, such as recent nor'easters impacting New York and preparations for potential tropical weather in Florida. Having a generator can ensure essential devices like refrigerators, lights, and electronics remain operational during a power outage.
Among the featured deals are the Jackery HomePower 3600 Plus, a battery-based system with a capacity of 3,584Wh and 3,600W of AC output, expandable up to 21kWh. The Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 Portable Power Station offers a more compact option with a 1,024Wh battery and 2,000W of output, boasting a recharge time of approximately 49 minutes. For those needing higher power output, the DuroMax Dual-Fuel Portable Generator provides 13,000 peak watts and 10,500 running watts, capable of operating on gasoline or propane.
Prime Big Deal Days is an annual fall sale event exclusive to Amazon Prime members, designed to offer significant discounts before the holiday shopping season. While the event provides access to deals on a wide range of products, including electronics and home essentials, specific discounts on generators can be particularly valuable for emergency preparedness.
