Amazon is investigating an incident captured on a doorbell camera in Florida where a delivery driver was seen throwing a package onto a customer's porch.

The video, shared by Florida resident Nathan Pekas, shows the driver approaching the home, hurling the package onto the concrete porch, and then walking away after taking a proof-of-delivery photo. A dog can be heard howling from inside the house as the box lands with a thud.

Pekas told Storyful that the delivery was made by Yun Express, a third-party carrier utilized for some Amazon deliveries. He also shared a photograph indicating damage to one corner of the box.

"This video does not reflect the standards we have for our delivery partners and we're looking into this matter," an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement. It remains unclear if the package's contents were damaged or if the driver is still assigned to make Amazon deliveries.

The incident is one of several package delivery mishaps that have recently gained attention after being recorded by homeowners' doorbell cameras. Last month, a FedEx driver in Georgia was seen falling into a swimming pool while stepping away to take a proof-of-delivery photo.
